When:
Next Music from Tokyo is an annually recurring tour that brings some of the best indie/underground bands from Japan to perform in Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver. There tends to be a focus on math/post-rock, emo, shoegazer, no-wave, post-punk but anything goes as long as it’s creative and fresh. Bands that have participated in the past include: ZAZEN BOYS, mouse on the keys, Kinoko Teikoku, MASS OF THE FERMENTING DREGS, nuito, Hitsuji Bungaku, Uchu Conbini, Akai Koen. Vol 17 features: Haku.
