Kallisto is a five-piece Montréal-based band led by clarinetist and composer Dr. Jossée MacInnis. Blending Eastern European and Middle Eastern folk traditions with jazz and 70s-inspired psychedelic rock, Kallisto creates a sound that is at once raw, exploratory, and unmistakably modern. Their performances are high-energy and immersive, pulling audiences into a world where tradition collides with improvisation and experimental rock. With two EPs, Arcas (2023) and Tigris (2024), and their official debut album Khevre (2025), Kallisto is carving out a new space in the progressive/psych-rock and world-fusion landscape.
