Julie Curly est une auteure-compositrice-interprète montréalaise qui présente son univers de musiques et de mots, dans la langue de Molière et de Shakespeare. De son premier album francophone (Confessions, 2014), jusqu’à son plus récent single anglophone (Silk Stocking District, 2015), Julie explore la chanson à travers ses textes, qui s’animent sous forme d’histoires, comme des courts-métrages. Julie continue d’explorer son univers pop avec son premier EP anglophone, en juin 2017, grâce à l’aide financière de FACTOR et du Gouvernement canadien. Intitulé Flower Power Soul, l’album rend hommage à la musique et l’esprit des années 60-70. Côté reprises, Julie a produit 3 album de covers depuis 2016.
Julie Curly is a singer-songwriter from Montreal with a passion for singing in both English and French. From her first French album (Confessions, 2014), to her most recent single (Silk Stocking District, 2015) her music is inspired by storytelling and visual imagery. Julie continues to explore the pop music sound with her first English EP, in 2017, with the financial help of FACTOR & Government of Canada. Called Flower Power Soul the pop/rock album pays tribute to the music and the spirit of the 60’s & 70’s. Julie has also produced 3 albums of cover songs since 2016.
