Ayria will be performing live in Montreal as part of the line up for Montreal’s industrial music Festival AMP (https://amp-festival.com/). AMP is a 3 day industrial music festival running from Friday October 10 through to Sunday, October 12. Ayria will perform on Friday, October 10. Electro-ebm-dark-dance-industrial act Ayria was formed in 2003 by Canadian singer-songwriter Jennifer Parkin. For two decades now, listeners have been hooked on her driving bass synths, addictive stompy beats and melancholic vocals. Unapologetically feminine in aesthetic, AYRIA had an for an exciting 2023 kicking off the “Battle Cry’’ tour the the USA for six weeks and in August 2024, the tour will come to the UK for eight shows. In 2022, AYRIA released her sixth full-length album and Artoffact Records debut, This is my Battle Cry signalling the beginning of a brand new era, showcasing a slick-more mature sound while still giving a nod to AYRIA’s previous ear-candy laced works. The album features 10 new tracks including the addictively catchy songs “Stranger Danger”, “No One Asked You” and the intensely dark title track “Battle Cry”. AYRIA has performed throughout the USA, Europe and the UK, Japan, Russia and Mexico showing that the appeal of AYRIA has stood the test of time, far and wide.
