This daytime workshop offers a welcoming, hands-on introduction to sound design, whether you’re new or have some experience. Eden will guide you through techniques, answer questions, and help you discover new ways to make music with modular synths.

Dr. Chelsea Bruno, also known as Eden Grey, is a prolific producer from Miami. She is also involved in organizing modular synthesis events for CV FREQS from Portland, Oregon, to London, England, where she did her PhD research in music composition at Royal Holloway, University of London. She earned a Master’s degree in Music Technology from Florida International University and a Bachelor’s in Studio Art from the University of Miami.
Inspired by dub, electro, ambient, and techno music, she has released several albums since 2009 and had tracks included on several artist compilations. EDEN GREY uses a custom-built modular synthesizer with both analog and digital parts to make a sound world that combines modern electronica and ambient music styles with the feel of old-school electronic music.
