Acoustic, Sound bath Meditation

Join us for a deeply restorative 60-minute sound bath with the incredible Phoebe Dubar (IKSRE). Let waves of soothing sound from crystal bowls, gongs, and layered instruments wash over you, guiding your mind and body into a state of deep rest. This immersive sonic journey will help release tension, quiet the mind, and leave you feeling grounded, spacious, and renewed.

Every sound bath is a different experience depending on the moon cycle or theme. Allow the sound waves to facilitate a deep meditative state, allowing connection with your inner self and the energies of the full moon. This is a time of heightened intuition and clarity, making it easier to receive insights and guidance. Phoebe uses a combination of crystal and Himalayan singing bowls, chimes, gongs, hand pan, Monochord and vocal toning. Participants lie down and relax as they are “bathed” in sound, slowing down their brainwaves and lulling them into a deep state of meditation and healing. It’s a profound experience for many, with no experience or skills required by its participants.

Who: IKSRE

Ambient

IKSRE (I Keep Seeing Rainbows Everywhere) is the solo moniker of Naarm/Melbourne-based multi instrumentalist, vocalist, producer and sound alchemist (dip. Sound Healing Academy, Cornwall), Phoebe Dubar. She combines ethereal vocals with lush strings, bass-forward synths and sound healing instruments with field recordings, to create a unique, ambient, neo-classical pop sound. She has released five albums to date: independently, with Constellation Tatsu (Oakland), Hush Hush Records (Seattle) and Lo Recordings (London), achieving widespread acclaim from blogs, Spotify official playlists and radio (BBC Radio 6, KEXP, RTE, triple j, double j, RRR, PBS-FM). She has also released collaborative albums with international artists on Ambientologist (NL), Past Inside the Present (USA) and Stereoscenic (USA). She has performed at Melbourne Music Week, Peninsula Hot Springs and dozens of yoga studios across her home state.

Phoebe also facilitates group sound baths using a combination of Himalayan and Alchemy crystal singing bowls, gongs, hand pan, drum, chimes, Monochord and voice, including overtone singing. She also facilitates training workshops locally and abroad, and runs a private practice from her home on Boonwurrung Country. She featured in a dedicated sound healing segment on The House of Wellness (Channel 7) and as a guide for Endota Retreat. Most recently, Phoebe has produced an 8 part Podcast, “What is Sound?”, featuring interviews with industry experts across the topics of sound healing, music performance, recording and the sounds of the natural world.
 ———————————————————————————————————————

“Her sound palette lies at the delicate intersection of the natural world in fissure with atmospheric electronics and instruments. Much like Philip Glass or Ryuichi Sakamoto, Dubar’s way with a subtle shift into an irregular rhythm, a harmonic modulation or change in articulation, tricks the listener into a trance. IKSRE is seriously slept on - it’s time to wake up.” (The Wire Magazine)

“Somewhere between sound healing and environmental music, Nurture is a techno-naturalistic exploration of the relationships between people, places and times” (Dazed Magazine)

“Her signature recipe examines the dynamics of the human mind, soul and body through the deft use of verdant strings, undulating synths, and vocals, blended with ambient droning and binaural beats. In some instances it evokes the transcendence of a sound bath and in others a delightful comedown from a long and fun night out.” (Vehlinggo)

“…a blissfully soothing entry into the world of healing by sound, flawlessly arranged and recorded.” (Igloo Mag)

“Through immersive, calming soundscapes, she transmits prismatic visions into the world, creating welcoming spaces for dreaming… It’s all a beautiful place to get lost.” (Foxy Digitalis)
