CLM Presents is a concert promotions and talent buying company based out of Minneapolis, MN that came to be from a mutual connection of two entrepreneurs from diverse business backgrounds. CLM Presents aims to provide quality entertainment and experiences through a variety of events in the concert and nightlife settings. We are driven by our love of music, our event goers, and data analytics. Calen Schaefer and Parag Shah joined forces in April of 2016 to officially launch the CLM Presents brand in the Twin Cities. Calen, a principal member who currently serves as the Director of Entertainment and manages operations, has spent the last 15 years working in the music industry from every angle imaginable. Calen began working in the industry as an artist who toured the country. He transitioned to a booking agent for other national artists, while also booking and promoting concerts across the midwest from 2012-2016. Parag is a visionary who is passionate about building technology companies. With an extensive background in web based companies and data analytics, Parag founded Vemos, formerly BookBottles. Vemos is a platform that allows nightclubs, venues, and promoters to sell admission tickets, run a point-of-sale system, manage their VIP tables and bottle service, as well as understand their clientele’s buying habits. Stemming from a meeting outside of a concert in 2015 the two started to discuss and trade ideas about their businesses and decided to co-invest and host their first concert together. After the successful event, they became partners and officially re-launched CLM Presents in a larger capacity. The company focuses on planning and executing music concerts and nightlife events in Minnesota while utilizing the Vemos platform. The use of the Vemos system allows CLM Presents to generate a profile of the people buying tickets to their events and how to run a more successful business from top to bottom. With other likeminded entrepreneurs and industry veterans on the CLM team they bring 25 years of experience in the nightlife and entertainment industries.
