What: Apolline @ The Workers Club

When:

Apolline @ The Workers Club

An absolute cracker of an evening celebrating the launch of The Inadequates new album ‘Haven’t You Heard’ and Apolline’s notable lack of a new album. Come and hear two of Australia’s most exciting acoustic folk bands, who are absolutely nailing the ‘genre-ly confused’ vibe of the 21st century.

Splicing the intimacy of acoustic music with the exhilarating energy of a modern rock ensemble, The Inadequates are very excited to be touring their debut album ‘Haven’t You Heard?’ across the east coast of Australia.

If You Haven’t Heard of them before (see what we did there?): The Inadequates are a high-energy acoustic trio that is growing rapidly within the Australian folk scene. Known for their bright suits and huge sound, they have been pushing the limits of their acoustic instruments at many different festivals across the country. Tight 3-part harmonies, highly arranged and demanding instrumental work, paired with wrenching songwriting and slamming energy!

Apolline is a lively trio of young folkies combining fiddle, cello, double bass and an extensive collection of colourful socks. The group views celtic folk music through fresh eyes with foot-stomping sets and original songs to bring a unique experience of genre-bending
