40th Parallel are excited to be launching their two newest singles ‘Motor Relapse’ and ‘Cold Light’ at The Retreat Hotel on the 15th of August. Moving to Melbourne at the beginning of the year from small town WA, 40th Parallel’s performances contain a blend of Post-Punk, Jazz, and 90’s Electronica influences that results in an exciting combination of experimental saxophone, vulnerable lyricism, and driving guitar work that has drawn comparisons to cult favourites such as King Krule, Radiohead, and Crumb. Joining 40th Parallel on stage will be the ever entertaining Post-Punk/New Wave group ‘The Mundaynes’ and the beautiful melancholic music of WA friends ‘Lifetime Warranty’.
