Static Dissent #5 – 27th February Post / Sludge at @thepeerhat

We’re excited to announce that our February headline act is post metal/sludge band @klps_music from Sweden.

From their Bandcamp: “K L P S has garnered a reputation for their immersive soundscapes and heavy riffs, blending elements of post-metal and sludge to create a unique auditory experience.”

Support comes from post metal band @thegreyband

Kerrang: “The Grey make (largely instrumental) music that weighs down like few others - marrying the pummelling feel of a band like Neurosis or Karma To Burn, to big themes with striking nuance and colour. It is truly awesome.”

Our Third act of the night will be post-sludge band @helveband

From their Bandcamp: “Helve is a 5 piece Post-Metal/Doom band based in Leeds UK. Helve’s incorporate the heavier elements of Sludge/Doom genres mixed with more ambient/soundscape sections akin to the Post-Metal bands such as Rosetta, Cult of Luna, ISIS.”

A local opener will be announced soon.
