In a world where music often feels overproduced and impersonal, VaterSon brings it back to the core – honest, raw rock performed live without compromise. This Swedish duo, made up of father Jimmy Vater and son André, sounds like a five-piece band despite being only two musicians on stage.
Jimmy plays both bass and guitar simultaneously, while André holds down the drums and runs loops via a Roland SPX – all live. It’s a technical and musical feat that turns heads and moves feet.
With a full-length album already released and four new singles out now, VaterSon is carving out their own space in the Scandinavian rock scene – gritty, loud, and unapologetically real.
“We’re not here to fit in – we’re here to shake things up,” says Jimmy Vater.
