DERIVA is an instrumental post-rock/metal group based in Madrid, Spain. Bringing raw emotion, sensitivity, and power with varying influences, DERIVA evokes profound ideas that words cannot express. DERIVA originates its style by integrating elements from emo, hardcore, progressive rock, flamenco, and epic cinema music. Each conceptual detail of every composition is perfectly crafted and balanced in its beauty, intensity and technical proficiency. From Madrid are the core members, both guitarists, Muñi and Minchy, from Galicia, Javi on bass, and from Denver, Rory on drums.
