Who: Lucy Clearwater
Folk
Born in a bathtub in a cookie factory in California, Lucy Clearwater is an acoustic folk/Americana singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and nature-loving old soul with a background in classical violin. Since moving to LA in 2016, she’s released an emotional range of singles and EPs (Feel Again, Casual, Augenlieder, and April), sold out beloved venues like The Hotel Cafe, and graced the stage at The Troubadour. She’s toured internationally, shared the stage with artists like John Craigie, Madison Cunningham, Victoria Canal, Philine Sonny, and Luca Fogale, and won the 2024 New Folk Competition at the Kerrville Folk Festival. Lucy’s heartfelt, vulnerable songwriting and rich acoustic sound resonate deeply with audiences. Her debut full-length album, produced by Grammy award winning producer Tyler Chester, is set for release in Spring 2026. Pro tip: bring tissues to her shows.
