I’ve always believed music is supposed to lift people higher. That belief shaped everything I do. My sound is a mix of the uplifting pulse of pop, the warmth of soul and R and B, and the feel good grooves I grew up loving. When people tell me that what I make feels familiar and fresh at the same time, that tells me I am on the right path. The truth is, I learned early on that joy carries weight and rhythm can heal people if you deliver it with real heart.
I roll with a band of incredible players. Joe Perrin Jr, John Trujillo, Jarrett Borba, Brian Netzley, and Neill Murzynowski, Each one of them brings something powerful to the stage and together we create a feeling that is bigger than any one of us. Some people say our energy reminds them of Kool and the Gang mixed with the soul of Leon Bridges and the charisma of Bruno Mars. I take that as a challenge to keep raising the bar and giving people a show they can feel in their chest.
Songs like Mad Love started pulling in thousands of streams and opened my world to listeners from all over. When We Can Forgive crossed twenty nine thousand plays, I realized people were connecting to the mission behind the music as much as the sound. That mission is simple. Create something family friendly, inspiring, and soul stirring. Something that makes you move, but also makes you feel seen.
Every time someone presses play or shows up to a concert, it reminds me why I started. I want this music to give people hope. I want it to be a soundtrack for anyone who needs a little more light in their day, and I plan to keep showing up with consistency, groove, and heart for as long as people keep listening.
