Collapsed Lung The band that brought you the hits EAT MY GOAL (1996) and… EAT MY GOAL (1998) are back! Collapsed Lung, brit-hop iconoclasts and pranksters (established 1992) return to South London with their freewheeling, genre-hopping, social-commenting, huge beat-having live band hip hop fusion.

Collapsed Lung were the first signing to Steve Lamacq’s Deceptive Records label in early 1993. They released two EPs with original vocalist Nihal Arthanayake (now a fixture on BBC Radio Five Live) before linking up with MC Jim Burke for their albums “Jackpot Goalie” (1995) and “Cooler” (1996). Eat My Goal was originally an album track on their debut, but after getting picked up to soundtrack the Coca Cola campaign for Euro 96, the band reworked it into the version that became a hit.

Since re-activating in 2015 they’ve released two DIY masterpieces - 2019s ZERO HOURS BAND, and 2023s COLLAPSED LUNG WEEKEND TELEVISION. Have they grown up? Not necessarily. But the beats and lyrics are defintely harder and angrier respectively. https://collapsedlungband.bandcamp.com/

Alternative

Slightlykilld is a London-based quartet led by vocalist Polina Morgun. The band includes Kirill Bogdanov on guitar, Dom Bowyer on bass, and Sam Taylor on drums. Originally formed as a duo, Slightlykilld is known for their dark, hypnotic sound and emotionally raw performances that blend elements of alternative rock, grunge, and trip-hop.

All of the songs are written by Polina, who not only serves as the singer and songwriter but is also a dedicated working professional and caring mother. Through her songs, which are dedicated to capturing the inner state of mind of modern women, she addresses real-life questions and shares her thoughts.
