South Shields-born artist and songwriter Eve Simpson creates folk and americana-infused pop that blends the contemporary influences of Hozier and Brandi Carlile with the nostalgic storytelling of Joan Baez and Patsy Cline.
Eve has received national radio and editorial support, including BBC Scotland’s Track of the Week, airplay on BBC Radio 6, and consistent backing from BBC Introducing. Live, she’s completed two UK headline tours and played major events including Celtic Connections, London Fashion Week, Edinburgh Hogmanay, and the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. She’s supported artists such as Martha Reeves & The Vandellas and UB40, and performed at festivals across the UK. She was named Feature Artist of the Month by The List, and has been supported by Help Musicians, Youth Music, and The Ivors Academy.
