Singer, songwriter and guitarist David Sinclair fronts the David Sinclair Four — a London-based band with a loyal following and a growing catalogue of hard-hitting, rootsy originals.
As a writer for The Times, Rolling Stone, Classic Rock and more, David has chronicled the highs and lows of rock & roll for decades. As a musician, he brings that same insight and edge to songs that are sharply observed, lyrically rich, and made to be played loud.
His latest singles — including [I Got] One Pair of Hands and I’m Waiting — mark a new chapter for DS4, following the acclaimed 2022 album Apropos Blues. The band’s live shows have earned a cult following, with standout performances at Cornbury Festival, North Wales Blues & Soul, and London venues like the 100 Club and the Borderline.
The current live lineup features Sinclair on vocals and guitar, long-time collaborator Geoff Peel (guitar/vocals), Derek White (bass) and Steve Jessop (drums), with Laurie Garman (harmonica).
