Oluwatosin Alabi known professionally as 705, is a Nigerian artist and producer. Born in Surulere Bankholemoh, Lagos, Nigeria and raised by his grandparents before and after he moved to London in 2001. He started making music at the age of 15 whilst in school, 705 would participate in small free-styling and rap battling sessions with friends and fellow pupils.
After realizing his passion for music 705 went on to study music technology at college. Influenced by so many great artists and musicians, 705 gains knowledge from everywhere as music is a universal language. Artists such as King sunny Ade, Fela kuti, Michael Jackson, Tupac, 50 Cent, Wiz Kid, Wande Coal and D’Banj are a few of the great influences in 705’s music and life.
He has performed at numerous events including open Mics, private functions and has shared the stage with numerous acts like Naira Marley, Dayo Chino, Boyodre, Passmark and many others. 705 prides himself on bringing energy to the stage every time, and the crowds always react to him in an amazing way that has to be seen to be believed.
705 has collaborated on tracks with artists Diondrey, Dayo Chino, Boyodre and Many more. Seven released his first solo independent “The 5th Element” in October 2020 which was followed up by his latest single “1999” which is available on all major streaming platforms, amassing over 60k and 20k streams respectively.
