What: Virtue In Vain @ Bank Top Tavern

When:

Virtue In Vain @ Bank Top Tavern We are back with another insane lineup for The Bank Top Tavern. We aim to bring you new talent to Oldham rather than keep putting the same bands on. Kicking off the proceedings are Manchester based thrashers Unharvested Thrash. They’re a relentless thrash metal band that channels the raw energy of classic metal with a modern twist. Hailing from Manchester UK, we are a sonic force fueled by aggressive riffs, lightning-fast drums, and fervent lyrics that confront the harsh realities of life. Up next we have Newcastle based Misery Channel. They’re a 5 piece act which combine Deathcore, Metalcore, Beatdown with influences of early Nu-metal. These guys came highly recommended from a lot of people in the industry. Cannot wait to see what they bring. Our headliners are South Wales based Virtue In Vain. They’re a 3 piece Progressive Metalcore band based in Cardiff. They have built their reputation on unrelenting energy, both in their music and in their live shows. From South Wales to stages across the UK, the band delivers a sound that is as chaotic and cathartic, leaving a lasting impression wherever they play. This promises to be a heavy night and we cannot wait. Make sure you stick this date in your diary. 6th March Free Entry 18+

Who: Virtue In Vain

Metalcore

Virtue In Vain has built their reputation on unrelenting energy, both in their music and in their live shows. From South Wales to stages across the UK, the band delivers a sound that is as chaotic and cathartic, leaving a lasting impression wherever they play.

Each release tells a story of evolution and emotional exploration. For All You Know Is The Mask I Wore introduced listeners to the band’s raw intensity and themes of identity and self-reflection. Dusk // Dawn explored personal struggle and transformation, leading into The Whispers Of Sleep and Preservation, solidifying their sound and story.

Now, Nothing Is All I Am closes an ambitious trilogy, reflecting on a fractured mind and the challenges that come with rebuilding oneself. This is a statement of who we are as a band.

There are more stories to tell, and there is always more music to write. Through every release, one statement always remains: We are Virtue In Vain
