Rising British 18 year old Kent based singer-songwriter Jasper Hodges will release his hotly anticipated debut single “Here & Now” on 6th June via AWAL (Alessi Rose, Wasia Project, CMAT, Laufey, Little Simz) following an extraordinary DIY journey that’s already captured the attention of fans and tastemakers alike.
Jasper first turned heads on Instagram, where he built a dedicated following by writing and sharing a song a day for over 400 days - amassing over 25,000 followers through sheer consistency and raw talent. From there, he hit the road, touring the UK relentlessly and earning slots supporting The Snuts and Louis Dunford, including a standout moment playing his debut London show to 10,000 people at Alexandra Palace armed with nothing but a guitar and his voice.
Recently signing a two EP deal with AWAL, Jasper’s debut single “Here & Now” is already making waves ahead of release, with BBC Introducing’s Abbie McCarthy selecting it as her Track of the Week. Produced by Nick Atkinson (Lewis Capaldi, Dermot Kennedy, Noah Kahan) and Hugo M Hardy (Tamzene, Nieve Ella, Nick Mulvey) the song is a bold, heartfelt introduction to Jasper as he reflects on living in the moment and embracing what life throws at you.
This summer, Jasper takes another giant leap, supporting Zach Bryan at Hyde Park’s British Summer Time on 29th June - a major milestone as he sets his sights on international growth in 2026.
