Helicon was formed by brothers John-Paul and Gary Hughes in East Kilbride, Glasgow. Their sound blends psychedelia, electronica, guitars and sitars with a spirit of counter-cultural experimentation. Since signing to Fuzz Club in 2017, their music has featured on BBC Radio 6 Music, and they’ve previously collaborated with Tony Doogan (Mogwai / Delgados / Belle & Sebastian / David Byrne), Will Carruthers (Spacemen 3 / The Brian Jonestown Massacre/ Spiritualized / Dead Skeletons), and Mark Gardener (Ride).
Their 4th studio album, ARISE, a collaboration with LA-based artist and DJ AL Lover, is due for release in February 2026.
Man of Moon - Since their beginning Man of Moon have been a standout live act. The Glasgow-based duo possess an extraordinary talent for cross-pollinating genres and styles, but their sound is not hybridised; rather, they are a synthesis of their influences, a pure sonic distillation of what has come before.
