Acid Row is the brainchild of 11thHour’s lead guitarist,and is an alternative/grunge outfit based out of Shillong.The songs are simple,straight-edged and aims to entertain,through grunge-a long forgotten genre.For live gigs,musician friends plug in,which included Adroit(Mang Lyngdoh),11th Hour(Meban),Degree Of Tolerance(Iaineh),and Souvenir(George).The project has gone live on Mtv RockOn,Yamaha Asian Beats,Elephant Falls Musical Night,and other local shows. Ever since 2012 though,the band has cemented their permanent line-up-a breed of multi-talented young musicians,coupled with Joey’s musical experience and prowess.This includes Meban on guitars,Weldy on Bass,George on Drums and Joey on Vocals and Guitars. George and Weldy are brothers,as are Joey and Meban,thus making Acid Row an all-brothers band.The band is based in Mawlai and is known for its smooth originals and near-perfect covers.
