PREYRS is a four-piece heavy alternative rock band, the brainchild of acclaimed Belfast rock artist Amy Montgomery and drummer/producer Michael Mormecha.
Their vocally driven sound fuses alt rock with industrial, post-rock, and noise textures with the sheer intensity of a metal show, yet retains the emotional intimacy and lyrical maturity that land their music as deeply in the heart as it does in the chest. At Bloodstock Openair 2025, Moshville Times hailed Montgomery as someone who could “fill an arena” and “physically embody every track,” adding that this is a band who’s “small-venue days won’t last long.”
The name PREYRS reflects a duality; devotion and desperation, a balance of vulnerability and ferocity mirroring the band’s ability to channel grief, rage, and catharsis into performances that feel more like a full body transmission than a conventional rock set, leaving audiences feeling raw, healed, and in disbelief.
Freshly signed to Pelagic Records, PREYRS are releasing their debut album on 14 November 2025, just in time for supporting New Model Army across Europe this November/December.
