The four-piece Berlin dreampop band Carolina Lee uses a minimalist approach to arrange the slow, melancholic songs of singer Nadja. The result is reminiscent of female singer-songwriters of the 70s, psychedelic folk and 90s dreampop with reduced compositions of guitar, bass, drums and keys. Quiet, dreamy and hypnotic, the music creates an untertow that draws you into a time loop oscillating between the past and the present. The debut album ‘Haunted Houses’ was released in December 2021. The second album, ‘It’s Still Now’, will be released in November 2024.
