Modern Thrash Metal
Antilles, das sind vier Jungs aus Münster, die seit Mitte 2015 zusammen Krach machen. Stilistisch stehen ihre Songs auf dem Fundament des Thrash Metal, geprägt durch aggressive Gitarrenriffs, schnelle Doublebass-Beats und treibende Basslines. Durch zahlreiche weitere Einflüsse, von Groove über Melodic Death bis hin zu Black Metal, haben sie allerdings ihren ganz eigenen Sound entwickelt, der sich von klassischem Thrash alter Schule abgrenzt. Besonders großen Wert legen die Jungs auf detailreiches und athmosphärisches Arrangement. Ihr Live-Debüt feierten Antilles Ende November 2015 und kurz darauf wurde auch ihre erste EP “Definition of Insanity” eingespielt, welche im April 2016 veröffentlicht wurde.
