From Gothenburg’s bustling music scene, Sean Edvards finally emerges. A new band with an international feel, but with its heart still in the Swedish indie scene. Behind the project are Malte O’Reilly and Elias Stenman, previously known from the indie band Äventyret, who over the years have made a name for themselves with their energy and stage presence. Sean Edvards brings influences from the melodic pop of the 60s and artists like Mac DeMarco, The Kinks, and Klaus Johann Grobe blend into something unique. Here, there is a combination of psychedelic undertones, soft grooves, and songs that move between playfulness and melancholy.
