Since their formation in 2023, the band Spillflower from the Rhine-Main area has firmly established themselves in the local music scene. With their energetic blend of metalcore and progressive metal, inspired by bands like Spiritbox, Meshuggah, and Sleep Token, they have already captivated audiences and gained new fans at their first gigs in 2024.

Spillflower impresses with a unique combination of heavy riffs, catchy melodies, and a dual-front lineup that creates a special dynamic. Ivy’s harmonious vocals complement Luke’s powerful shouts perfectly, resulting in a sound that is both heavy and melodic, appealing to both metalcore and progressive metal fans. The band’s lyrics explore themes that resonate with many people: love, loss, and the search for one’s place in the world. With their debut single “Invading My Mind,” released in April 2024, Spillflower offered a first taste of their sound. In July, the single “Neverland” followed, further showcasing the band’s musical development. An EP is already in the works.
