The Memos are a Liverpool-based indie rock band blending raw Northern grit with a melodic transatlantic twist. Fronted by Cumbrian singer-songwriter Aaron Spencer, their music channels real-life emotion through heartfelt lyrics, anthemic choruses, and sharp guitar work. With Zak Langford Do on lead guitar hailing from San Francisco and Gary Robertson on bass and backing vocals bringing Scouse heart and soul , they deliver emotionally honest indie rock with vibrancy and flair.
Formed in 2023, The Memos are unapologetic dreamers with a working-class spirit and a sound built for both basements and stadiums. They’ve headlined a sold-out Kazimier Stockroom in Liverpool, supported Mexican Dogs at the 700-capacity Hangar34, and supported Wynona Bleach. Festival appearances across the UK include a mainstage slot at The Boof Festival alongside The Lottery Winners, Red Rum Club, The View, and Shambolics.
Their first two singles ‘Save Tonight’ and ‘Do You Believe?’ earned praise from Indie Revolution, Pure Magazine, and airplay on Sirius XM and Amazing Radio.
