Music, Story & Seasonal folk traditions at the Edge of Autumn
Join us for an evening of music and story, honouring the turning of the year, the gentle drift from harvest’s abundance into winter’s first breath, and the folk traditions that lead you home.
In the gloaming grey, as dusk settles and the light thins, we gather within the sacred heart of Greyfriars Kirk, Edinburgh. This is the threshold hour, a tender space between day and night, where time is slower and old stones seem to listen.
Featuring original alt-folk songs, traditional ballads, and live storytelling, this immersive performance invites you to reflect, remember, and re-root yourself in the deep rhythms of our traditions. Inspired by the harvest’s close and the winter hearth, the evening conjures a world where endings cradle beginnings, song becomes spell, and stories light the way, reminding us we are never more than three steps from the otherworld.
