Glasgow’s Rhinestone Cowgirl, Erin Ponsonby, is emerging as one of Scotland’s rising country artists, making her mark on the UK scene since her 2020 debut EP, Little Town. Erin has headlined venues like Broadcast Glasgow (2022) and Nice N Sleazy Glasgow (2024) with her band, and performed at top festivals, including Country to Country in Glasgow’s OVO Hydro (2024/2025), Country on the Clyde, Buck N Bull’s Summer of Country in London, Northern Star and King Tut’s Summer Nights. A regular at Glasgow’s first Nashville-themed bar, Maggie’s Rock N Rodeo, Erin’s country-pop style is gaining traction through headline shows and major support slots. Recently, she supported Luke Combs UK at a sold-out Glasgow Barrowlands to an audience of 2,000, performing her original songs including most recent releases, Cowboy King and Country Side of Town.
