Apna is a Lanarkshire based rock band made up of Jack Anderson (lead vocals/rhythm guitar), Guy Miller (lead guitar/vocals), Thomas Wragg (bass) and Ciaran McMorrow (drums). The sound of the band began as a classic example of punchy rock music with big hooks and some roots in the indie area, and has since evolved to incorporate a range of different influences in musical technique and genre, including some aspects of dance music, psychedelic, and even metal. The variety of musical inspiration has been showcased over the release of two EPs in 2020 and 2021, and the band are demonstrating an electric energy in the Glasgow music scene in their live return after the pandemic with ambitions to branch out across Scotland.
