Aino Elina is an Edinburgh based BBC Radio Scotland single of the week act singer-songwriter originally from Lapland, Finland. Intriguingly, Aino Elina sings in both her native Finnish and in English creating luminous ethereal Nordic pop.
Zonos makes electronic drone music channelling “found tape, urban voids, haunted bedsheets, winter light and the colour of concrete”. Their new LP Frequencies of Time and Space arrives off the back of BBC Radio 6 Music airplay and a handful of gigs around Edinburgh.
Daniele Ippolito is an Italian composer, music producer, and synthesizer specialist from Taranto, known for his atmospheric blend of ambient, electronic, and darkwave music. His work has earned critical acclaim in the film world: he was nominated for Best Music at the Cannes World Film Festival and was awarded at the MIFF Awards, the Ponza Film Festival, and the San Giorgio Festival in Locorotondo. He was also a finalist at the New York Short Film Festival.
With over 5 million streams and a dedicated fan base of more than 100,000 listeners, Daniele has released four albums and two vinyl records, including the standout Essentials and MATERIA. His immersive compositions have accompanied award-winning films and international projects, including collaborations with director Elijah Negasi. Continuously active in the music and art scene, he merges sonic experimentation with visual storytelling to create emotionally rich and genre-defying experiences.
Aino Elina creates ethereal indie electro pop to bounce and float along to. Based in Edinburgh, the Finnish-born singer-songwriter blends luminous synth pop with ethno/world music influences from her native Lapland. Singing in both Finnish and English, she crafts a magnetic fusion of Nordic culture with a Scottish twist.
Her live sets combine ethereal vocals, electronic beats, and stripped-back electro-pop arrangements — combining traditional song-writing with improvisation and looping.
Aino Elina’s discography includes her debut EP Unissa (2018) and the 2025 LP Kite / Thinning Ice, which received praise on BBC Radio Scotland, where she featured on the Introducing show, the Upload show and also on the Afternoon Show - highlighted as a Single of the Week. Her tracks have landed on Spotify editorial playlists, earned national airplay in Finland and Scotland, and continue to be supported by Amazing Radio and indie music blogs.
