What: Tilt @ The Button Factory

When:

Tilt @ The Button Factory Tilt #37 takes place on Monday December 8th in The Button Factory featuring three talented & unique acts - Rory Sweeney, Unique Freaks and Sell Everything. Rory Sweeney Rory Sweeney is a DJ/producer/sound designer and video director who has become one of the big figures in the Irish underground music scene over the last few years. As well as releasing his own solo material since 2019 Rory has produced music for lots of well known Irish artists such as Kojaque, Sloucho and Cosha. Separately he’s gained a cult following in Dublin for his high octane DJ sets. In May 2024 Rory produced & curated the first ever all-Ireland hip hop mixtape, under the pseudonym of Carlos Danger. The mixtape was a celebration of Irish rap - from Belfast, to Mullingar, to Tallaght and beyond. His new album Old Earth is beautiful, tense, experimental and playful all at once. Unique Freaks Unique Freaks are an experimental psych-rock duo consisting of Darragh Hansard and Elizabeth Doyle - formerly known as Thee U.F.O.. The band formed in 2019 as an industrial duo and began experimenting with different genres. After releasing two psychedelic albums Ponderous Fug and Beaming A Moments Reflection the band transitioned to their current name, Unique Freaks, to reflect a broader artistic direction, beyond just psychedelic rock. Their new album Enjoyment Planted is a perfect example of the duo’s love for genre shifting, experimental music.  Sell Everything Sell Everything are an eclectic Dublin based band who formed in 2023. They’ve quickly built up a reputation for blending genres like punk, jazz, rock and hip-hop music, into what they call ’experimental rock music’. Their music is characterised by swirling textures, off-kilter grooves, and influences that range from King Krule to 60s rock n’ roll.  Tilt #37 is supported by Ticketmaster.
