For 2026, thanks mom on March 4th will be THUMPER’s special guests at The Academy. They were handpicked for the live recordings of Sessions from Oblivion on RTE 2FM at Whelan’s Ones to Watch event, January 7th and they have already been announced to perform at Forest Fest Saturday July 25th!
In 2025, “thanks mom” unveiled their highly anticipated debut EP, Wake Me!, as a four-piece band, celebrated with an exhilarating gig at The Grand Social. They were thrilled to be invited to support Big Sleep at the sold-out Academy, and they showcased their talent for Ireland Music Week for the second time. Additionally, they performed at Whelan’s Ones To Watch, went on to support Under Starling at The Workman’s Club, and delivered an exhilarating performance for the third time at Forest Fest.
thanks mom is a DIY indie/alternative rock outfit, established by front woman Erica in 2021, she was joined by Grace that same year, followed by Amelie and Cillian in 2023. Based in Kildare, Ireland, their songs explore the profound themes of love, life, death, sadness, friendship, self hatred and navigating life as a neurodivergent teenager.
