This September, acclaimed roots musician Martin Harley will embark on a five-date tour across Ireland and Northern Ireland, bringing his spellbinding live show to Limerick, Dublin, Portaferry, Antrim, and Dundalk. This intimate run of dates comes hot on the heels of supporting the legendary Bonnie Raitt at two sold-out shows in Belfast and Dublin this past June.

Described by Guitarist Magazine as “one of the UK’s finest contemporary roots musicians,” Harley continues to push the boundaries of Americana, blues, and folk. His expressive slide guitar playing, lauded by The Guardian as “spellbinding,” has cemented his reputation as a master of the craft and a compelling live performer.

This Irish tour marks another chapter in what has already been a landmark year for Harley. His latest album, Morning Sun, recorded with producer Nigel Stonier (Drumrolls for Somersaults) at Airtight Studios in Manchester, has been celebrated as his strongest work to date. With contributions from Michael Blair (Tom Waits, Elvis Costello), Mark Lewis (bass), and CJ Hillman (pedal steel), the album presents a richly textured soundscape blending folk, country, and contemporary blues.

Harley’s music has found audiences worldwide, with high-profile collaborations including Jerry Douglas and Derek Mixon (Chris Stapleton), festival appearances at Glastonbury, BottleRock, and the Royal Albert Hall, and widespread critical acclaim. His 2017 album Static in the Wires peaked at #2 on the iTunes Blues charts.

Known for his dynamic and emotive live performances, Harley’s upcoming Irish dates promise a night of musical storytelling and virtuosic musicianship in intimate venues where every note resonates.

Following this Irish tour, Harley will head out on a 16-date UK winter tour, continuing his remarkable journey as one of modern roots music’s most captivating voices.
