When:

Foot Squeaker @ Loch Garman Arms Hotel

Following a year defined by new music and national airplay, Foot Squeaker return home for their only Gorey performance of 2025. The three-piece alt-rock band will play the Loch Garman Arms on Monday, December 22nd, closing out a busy 12 months with a highly anticipated live set.

The band has built a steady momentum throughout the year with the release of three critically acclaimed singles, earning support from the likes of RTÉ 2fm, Amazing Radio, and Louder Than War. This hometown show will be a chance to experience their powerful live show, featuring this year’s releases alongside new, unreleased material.

The music has been speaking for itself:

Their single ‘Medals’ was described by Hot Press Magazine as “a melodic tune balancing danceable energy with a gritty rock quality.”

Puremzine noted of ‘60 Beats’: “The three-piece group…mixes calm, thoughtful parts with louder, more intense bursts of energy.”

And Clout Magazine said of ‘Birdline’: “Foot Squeaker are a band that leave a lasting, memorable impression… this track’s thoughtful and brash nature packs a seismic, multi-faceted punch.”

They’ll be joined by two excellent local acts: the experimental soundscapes of Vistafutur and Conor Miley, songwriter, singer, multi-instrumentalist and composer hailing from Dublin but now resident in Gorey, making for a strong bill that showcases the depth of the area’s music scene.

It’s the final chapter of a big year, right where it started. An ideal night for fans of substantive Irish alt-rock.

Rock
Foot Squeaker are an alt-rock power trio from Ireland who build songs, big songs, that bowl you over and rise you up to feel something, everything. The job is to leave it all on that stage, give the audience your utmost. That is what this band does, no excuses. Ireland has been scaled, now it’s time for the wider world.
