Join us for an evening of kirtan, chanting, music, and satsang with Nina Rao accompanied by Arjun Bruggeman to raise awareness and funds for saving wild tigers and their habitats across India -the Land of the Tiger. India is the last viable habitat for wild tigers and one of the most bio-diverse regions in Eurasia. Protecting this ecosystem means safeguarding not just tigers, but also elephants, langurs, deer, birds, rivers, plants, and the sacred balance of nature itself. This concert is a celebration of India’s living tradition of honoring wildlife as sacred embodiments of Mother Earth. Through intentional prayer, chanting, and community, let us come together to protect nature and give thanks. Our special guest is Sanjna Kapoor, wife of Valmik Thapar who passed away earlier this year- a leading tiger conservationist and was the original inspiration for the creation of Saving Wild Tigers in 1999. All funds raised will go to Tiger Watch based in Ranthambhore, with gratitude to Life-Yoga for the gift of hosting this community event.
This special community gathering is an invitation to immerse yourself in sacred music, collective chanting, and the power of shared voices.
Through her harmonium and heartfelt presence, Nina guides us into a meditative space of devotion, inner stillness, and unity. Beyond chanting, Nina also leads Saving Wild Tigers, a movement dedicated to tiger conservation across India, blending the spirit of compassion with action for the Earth.
Come be part of this two-hour journey of sound and silence, where spirituality meets mindfulness, and hearts connect through mantra.
