NUBIWXRLD (Born Christopher Grant Kauffman in 2003) is an independent artist and producer based in Texas who began releasing music on SoundCloud on March 9th, 2018 under the name Yung Newbie, that original era of his music (2018-2021) was mostly filled with songs that were made for fun. Though many of those songs were taken down by NUBIWXRLD, a handful of them still remain on his SoundCloud page, some of those songs include collaborations with producers like Isobeats and Shawn Ferrari.
In October 2021, Yung Newbie had changed his name to NUBI after wanting a fresh start with his music career. It all began with his single “REUP”. By summer of 2022, NUBI had changed his name once again to NUBIWXLRD, and shortly after released his self-titled album on June 10th, 2022.
In the late summer of 2021, before the name change from Yung Newbie to NUBIWXRLD, the early production of the “STATE OF MIND” album began, which later became the self-titled album from 2022. At the same time of State of Mind’s early production was the start of NUBI’s guitar journey, everything that is seen now (as of 2024) was and has been building up slowly.
After letting some time pass, and improving on his craft, NUBIWXRLD finally dropped “STATE OF MIND” on March 8th, 2024. The plan to shift to rock music was also developed early on, and again, with enough time passed and improved experience, NUBIWXRLD released his debut rock single, “WITHOUT A NAME” on October 4th, 2024.
