Released in 1994, the band’s third album, “Brother Sister” was a game-changer. With classic singles like ‘Dream On Dreamer’, ‘Midnight At The Oasis’, and ‘Back To Love’, the record achieved huge success - reaching #4 on the charts, selling over a million copies, and earning a BRIT nomination. Featuring original members Andrew Levy and Simon Bartholomew alongside the phenomenal vocalist Angela Ricci, the tour promises a full performance of The Brand New Heavies performing ‘Brother Sister’ in full, along with other hits and fan favourites from their storied history, accompanied by a complete live band.

Acid Jazz

The Brand New Heavies are an acid jazz and alternative hip hop group formed in 1985 in Ealing, West London. Originally an instrumental rare groove group, the Brand New Heavies gained a cult following in the London club scene and soon signed to Cooltempo as acid house replaced rare groove in clubs.

Band members The core members of the group are:

  • Jan Kincaid — born 17 May 1966 in Ealing - drummer / keyboardist
  • Simon Bartholomew — born 16 October 1965 in Ealing - guitarist
  • Andrew Levy — born 20 July 1966 in Ealing - bassist / keyboardist

The band has also worked with many vocalists, including N’Dea Davenport, Sideah Garrett, Carleen Anderson, Nicole Russo, and Sy Smith.
