What’s a belief, an affirmation, or a simple phrase that’s been with you or that you wish to be reminded about? We invite you to share it in this space, where Ida Simone and Horatiu, as musicians and space holders, create improvised music with words and instruments. With music we can express things that are not possible to say with just words. Through singing, we connect with our bodies, and the music manifests the thoughts and emotions that want to be expressed. Together we’ll explore this meditative process, when your words make music on the spot.
Hi! I’m Horațiu, songwriter, improviser and experimental artist from Romania, based in Copenhagen, Denmark. I play piano and other stuff, in many genres, and I’ve been told I’m a great storyteller, so I’m leaning into that by creating weird worlds to let you escape and question things about yourself.
I sing about funny and serious stuff, and try to get to the deepest places while keeping it lighthearted because life is too short to take yourself seriously. All my shows are different, with lots of improvisation and audience engagement, so I hope to see you live sometime! Sorry about the similar artists list, I mainly just added artists I like but maybe some of it sounds nothing like my stuff. Oh well!
