When:

CASILIAN @ 25hours Hotel

Are you ready for an intimate musical-experience right from the comfort of a living room? CASILIAN, formed by Franco-Norwegian brothers Mikael and Lucas Roussel, released two concept EPs at the beginning of 2025, including “Notre Monde”, marking the band’s first project in French. Their sound lives somewhere between folk and electronics — music that feels like home, like a celebration, and like questioning everything at once. Through what they call Existential-Folktronica, CASILIAN brings together opposites: the organic and the mechanical, the past and the future, light and darkness. Now they’re heading out on their first tour in a while, returning to where it all began: unplugged, close, and very human. Just two slightly existential Frenchmen, a couple of guitars, and a living room full of people willing to listen. Who: CASILIAN

Folktronica

CASILIAN consists of Franco-Norwegian brothers Mikael and Lucas Roussel. They spent the better part of last year in the studio recording several singles and their forthcoming EP Tout ceux qu’on était et restera… which will be the band’s first release in French. CASILIAN’s music feels like home, a party and an existential crisis all at the same time. Their blend of folk and electronica, also called folktronica, seeks to bring together the organic and mechanical world, the past and future, the light and the dark and to create a space in which audiences can explore themselves.

After touring the UK, playing release concerts in LA and showcases such as Vill Vill Vest in Bergen, they are now working on new material that will dive deeper into what they have coined “Existential-Folktronica”.
