Anna Kruse is a Swedish-Danish singer and composer based in Copenhagen. For more than twenty years, she has been creating music inspired by the powerful and timeless poetry of Edith Södergran. Södergran’s words continue to feel strikingly fresh and relevant, and Anna has made it her artistic mission to bring this poetry to new ears and hearts around the world.
Her music has been performed in many settings — from intimate solo concerts to collaborations with big bands, choirs, symphony orchestras, and string quartets. The songs are flexible by nature and can live just as naturally in a stripped-down format as in a large orchestral soundscape.
Through this platform, Anna hopes to come a little closer to her audience and to share where and when she will be performing live.
