Funkadesi’s unique blend of Bollywood, Reggae, Funk. With unprecedentedly diverse members who are gifted healers, educators, and passionate community advocates, Funkadesi stays true to it’s motto: “One Family, Many Children. Insisting We All Belong.” Funkadesi has recently been featured at Tedx Chicago, and has led numerous experiential workshops, trainings, and interactive keynote addresses. Using multicultural music as an immersive experience, they have captured themes of Inclusive Joy, Wellness, Emotional Intelligence and more. This December, Funkadesi will celebrate their 29th anniversary – a unique accomplishment not many bands achieve.
