Cathy Richardson is a GRAMMY Nominated and 4 time DIY Award winning singer, songwriter, musician and producer from Chicago. Besides independently releasing seven albums of original material, Ms. Richardson is the lead singer of the legendary Jefferson Starship and the Macrodots. She starred as Janis Joplin in the Off Broadway show Love, Janis. She has toured the US singing with Janis Joplin’s original band members Big Brother and the Holding Co. Ms. Richardson can been seen on the EMMY Winning music education show for kids, Jack’s Big Music Show on Nick Jr. Her voice has been heard on dozens of national tv and radio advertising campaigns, and movie soundtracks like HBO’s the Vagina Monologues and Talladega Nights: the Ballad of Ricky Bobby.
