Jake Durkin is a singer-songwriter from Boston, MA. Combining elements of folk, soul & rock, Jake enjoys experimenting with different genres in order to encapsulate his emotive feelings & lyrics.
Jake moved to Nashville, TN in 2016 and quickly immersed himself in the writing scene, learning from hit songwriters and beginning to professionally produce music - leading to the release of his debut single ‘Thick & Thin’. Since then, Jake has appeared on NBC’s The Voice and American Idol - making it to the end of Hollywood week on the show.
Having been writing music since his early teens, Durkin quickly realised that Nashville wasn’t quite the right city for him & he moved back to the Boston area in order to be closer to his family and where he first began writing music as an early teen.
