Aaron Larget-Caplan Presents: Latin Travels, A Musical Journey Wednesday, September 10, 2025 Guitarist and Composer Aaron Larget-Caplan performs an exciting recital of Latin American Music celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month, with music from Spain and Latin American countries. Featuring Tangos, Venezuelan waltzes and Spanish dances alongside laments, meditations, and dreams. Aaron will speak about the music and culture of the guitar in Latin America and how it relates beauty and enriches our lives. ABOUT THE ARTIST:

American classical guitarist and composer Aaron Larget-Caplan has performed over 1000 concerts across Europe, Russia, Taiwan, and the US. He directs and curates the Spanish dance ensemble ¡Con Fuego!, regularly performs chamber music, and has multiple contemporary music projects. His 11 solo albums have earned over 12 million streams, and he has seven publications of John Cage, Alan Hovhaness, and contemporary composers. Raised in Colorado he makes his home in Boston where he is on faculty at the New England Conservatory.

Composer and classical guitarist Aaron Larget-Caplan searches for the life in music & music in life. He has premiered over 120 compositions, directs the Spanish music & dance ensemble ¡Con Fuego!, while curating the New Lullaby Project commissioning endeavor, and the Now Musique recital series. His arrangements and recording of the music of John Cage are the first to be sanctioned by the estate and have received international accolades. He has 11 solo albums which have earned over 6 million streams, including albums dedicated to J.S. Bach, John Cage, Spanish romantic and flamenco composer, contemporary composers, and his own music. Raised in Colorado he makes his home in Boston.
