HorthWorld (full band) headline the stage outside the Melbourne Assembly Rooms as part of the the Melbourne Arts Festival.
HorthWorld is the alter ego of singer / songwriter Andrew Horth from Melbourne, Derbyshire, England.
HorthWorld burst on to the music scene in August 2024 with power pop / indie banger Watercooler Girl recorded with Oasis sound engineer Nick Brine and produced by Kitten Pyramid’s Scott Milligan.
This was followed up by old-school Christmas anthem Merry Christmas (Make Amends) and a Valentine’s Day AA-side release featuring epic love songs Greatest and Burn Out which were all produced by Natt Webb at RatCat Studios and featured on BBC Introducing. Current single Fairytale is a pop-rock classic in the making telling the tale of a young man who lost touch with the girl of his dreams only to be reacquainted with her later in life… could there be a second chance for a Fairytale ending?
Horth draws from influences across genres to craft songs with the common denominator of earworm melodies paired with honest, sometimes humorous and often heart on the sleeve lyrics.
