Bugeye @ The Victoria Uncover Music presents Bugeye Bugeye are Angela, Paula, Lex, Ana and Kat - creating dirty pop punk with disco beats, sizzling synths, buzz saw guitar and punchy vocal hooks. For fans of St Vincent, Bones UK, ARXX and Wet Leg. MeMe Detroit Hailing from the Midlands, creators of Uplift Angsthems, MeMe Detroit, are carving out a fearless space in the UK alt-rock scene. Described by Louder Than War as a band that “bridges the gaps between grunge, indie & blues rock,” their sound is raw yet cathartic - an electrifying fusion of grunge grit and uplifting anthems with heart at its core. Fronted by British/Latina multi-instrumentalist MeMe (aka Maria Rodriguez), with drummer Kallum McEwen and bassist Abbie Welch completing the lineup, this formidable trio deliver an exciting but tight, dynamic performance, creating a wall of sound that defies their size. Phwoar Fizzy alternative indie rock two-piece from Birmingham, with DIY sensibilities, infectious spirit and catchy tunes. Exciting things are happening for the band, from the release of their EP ‘Flowers Through the Concrete’ to completing on their first UK headline tour in Autumn 2025. The record was written and produced by PHWOAR, with Adrian Hall (Tori Amos, Nova Twins, Depeche Mode) also producing, as well as mixing and mastering.
