Awake By Design was founded by lead singer Adrian Powell and guitarist Toby Stewart. The band have released three full length studio albums with singles being played on the BBC, Kerrang and Metal Hammer. The band have supported and toured with many bands in different genres of metal and rock such as: Leaves’ Eyes, My Dying Bride, Apocalyptica, Sonata Arctica, Queensrÿche, Power Quest, Amorphis, Evergrey and many more.

After a brief hiatus due to the Coronavirus pandemic, Awake By Design are finally back, with a fresh lineup including a mix of older faces, as well as newcomers Ben Hopkins on drums and Hal Smith on keys. And with several shows now under their belt on this side of the pandemic with the new lineup, ABD are very hopeful for the future and have big plans for 2024!
