The Fuckheads are Fucked. It was never meant to be a band. Frontman and Australian stand-up comedian Dave Adams was asked to throw together a jam act for the Berlin Chili Fest. What happened next, nobody could have predicted. Out of a one-off piss-take came a rock band that actually slaps. That’s right, we’re using the word slaps.
A comedy rock band sounds like a terrible idea, but The Fuckheads pull it off. They walk the line between silly satire and actual music, sometimes heavy, sometimes delicate. Kind of like the Beatles but fucking dumb, and just unhinged enough to make you wonder if you’re supposed to laugh or sing along. Ideally both.
The Fuckheads aren’t just a comedy gimmick. The rhythm section comes from Andrew Bear, a Ukrainian rock band that’s been touring internationally for years—and it shows. They’re the real deal. On top of that, the band’s “designated rapper,” Scott Reynolds, is a classically trained trumpet player who gave up orchestras to become a part-time stand-up comedian/wine salesman, full-time Fuckhead.
